A device for compensating the pressure building inside the cabinet due to ambient temperature fluctuations. Extreme differences between the external temperature of the environment and the internal temperature inside tightly closed cabinets (e.g., due to weather changes, day/night transition) cause pressure differences. The pressure differnce may cause undesired ingress of dust and moisture into the cabinet and jeopardize the reliability of electronic devices. The compensator is a special element that ensures equalization of pressure while preventing dust and moisture leaking in from the outside. It can be installed easily.
